About

WeePeat was “born” in 1997 after my mother-in-law brought my daughter a stack of wonderful dresses and outfits she had gotten at a consignment sale in the Nashville area.  After finding the right partner (Gail), doing research, and training we held our first sale in the Fall of 1998 in her garage with 3 racks.

When my first partner moved, I found another partner in Sherri and we grew from a garage sale at her house to our present location at the Agricultural Pavilion in the Laurel County Fairgrounds.  Here at the Fairgrounds we have plenty of room and parking for our consignors and hundreds of shoppers!

After Sherri moved, I’ve run WeePeat with the help of my husband, family, and wonderful group of volunteers.  We feel that WeePeat not only affords consignors the opportunity to earn cash for their children’s outgrown and unused items, but also gives parents an option for affordable quality items for their children.  Now in our 20th year we are helping a second generation of WeePeat consignors and customers!

WeePeat has sales twice a year, in the Spring and Fall, featuring seasonal-appropriate clothing.  The Spring sale is usually in March and features Easter clothes, sundresses, shorts, T-shirts and bathing suits; our Fall sale is usually in August with warm coats, long pants, sweaters and Holiday attire.  Both sales offer a great selection of toys, books, and baby equipment from bottles to strollers.
